Dreaming of a River Voyage?

It’s official – AUTUMN is here! It’s hard to imagine we are coasting through the FALL season,
soon WINTER and then – one of our FAVE’S – SPRING BREAK!

With school back in swing, the holidays on our heels, and the New Year soon approaching, it’s time to start thinking about your Spring Break Celebra-cation™!

Take a look at our Exclusive Savings for a Punta Cana Celebra-cation at the amazing Hard Rock Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic! If you’re interested, we need to hear from you no later than Wednesday, November 3!!

I just returned from a exquisite RIVER CRUISE with Amadeus River Cruises, sailing through the Legendary Danube River! This was our 2nd experience – and – my oh my – LOVE RIVER CRUISING! From the moment you step onto the ship, you sink into comfort and style! The staff is impeccably trained. The entertainment is authentic and changes nightly. And, the culinary traditions of the destinations do not disappoint!
Did we indulge? Yes, of course!!

>Our week began in Passau, Germany and concluded in Bratislava, Slovakia — all the while, stopping in the quaint ports of Durnstein, Vienna, Linz and Regensburg. We were immersed in these European destinations with comfort and ease, every safety protocol arranged and adhered to.
It was an absolute stress-free Celebra-cation, and we are already talking about the next time!
Here’s a peak at the Geography of the Danube, and there are numerous alternate destinations to satisfy your travel palate as well!
Europe’s Danube River begins in Germany, flowing through 10 picturesque countries and four iconic capital cities – Budapest, Hungary; Vienna, Austria; Bratislava, Slovakia; and Belgrade, Serbia. The portion of the waterway stretching southeast from Budapest is known as the Lower Danube, and showcases the lesser visited countries of Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania.

You can be doing all the right things for wellness – exercising, eating well, keeping down stress and still feel something is missing. There is no greater education than travel. Remember, there is always something to celebrate – and we remain grateful to have served clients globally for over 25 years!

Cheers & sending our warmest regards ~ Denise & Ashley

Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup mixed green, purple and orange candy-coated chocolates, such as M&Ms
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup mixed green, purple, orange and black Halloween sprinkles and nonpareils
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional
48 candy eyeballs

Position an oven rack in the top and bottom and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment. Stir together the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl. Combine the brown sugar and granulated sugar with the butter in a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Beat on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well to combine, 1 to 2 minutes. Add the flour mixture and beat on low speed to combine, scraping the bowl down once to make sure it is mixed well, about 1 minute. Add the oats, candy-coated chocolates, chocolate chips, half of the sprinkles and the pecans if using. Mix on low speed just to combine, about 30 seconds. Spread the remaining 1/2 cup sprinkles in a small bowl. Using a 1/4-cup (2-ounce) ice cream scoop or dry measuring cup, scoop a scant 1/4 cup of dough, roll into a ball and flatten them slightly with the palm of your hand. Press the top of the ball in the sprinkles. Place 6 balls of dough on each baking sheet. Arrange 2 eyeballs on each dough ball. (Refrigerate the remaining dough while you bake this batch.) Bake, rotating the pans halfway through, until the edges are crisp and golden, 15 to 18 minutes. Remove the pans to wire racks to cool slightly, then transfer the cookies to the racks to cool completely. Allow the baking sheets to cool and then repeat with the remaining dough.

We loved working with Ashley and Denise from Travel Concepts for our honeymoon! We got married in October 2020, but knew traveling wouldn’t be a great opinion until summer 2021. We just got back from our honeymoon in Cancun and couldn’t have been happier! I called Ashley in February 2021 with concerns about traveling and shared my worries with her; she listened and answered all of my questions…again 🙂 When we arrived in Cancun this past June, everything was in order and exceeded our expectations! If you’re looking for a travel agent, Ashley and Denise will take WONDERFUL care of you! ~ Kara

We booked our spring break trip with our high school senior with Travel Concepts and everything was wonderful. In a crazy Covid year, it was so nice to vacation worry-free. Denise made sure all arrangements were made and left nothing to chance. We loved the Moon Palace in Cancun and can’t wait to return! ~Christina
